Xbox Live Spring Update Hits U.S. May 9th

Details on the Xbox Live Spring Update were posted today at Gamerscore Blog. The update, arriving Wednesday, May 9th, brings some major enhancements to Xbox Live. The most prominent of these is the integration of Windows Live Messaging and support for the upcoming text-input device (so-called by Microsoft), allowing users to "Chat via instant messenger with up to 20 contacts in a single conversation, and have up to six different conversations at the same time with people on PCs, mobile phones and other Xbox 360 consoles."
Additional updates include more detailed enhancement pop-ups, a new Marketplace blade, and improved download features.
