Xbox Dashboard Update Restores Hearing
Back in November, a number of users with their Xbox 360s plugged in via HDMI were bathed in silence after upgrading to the New Xbox Experience (NXE). If you were a poster on the How NXE Ruined My Life Forums and left a comment along the lines of "Hey, that's not the new experience I want!" -- get ready to turn that frown upside down. That internet faith healer you've been researching has finally emailed you back... two months later.
A new dashboard update to be issued Tuesday morning will hopefully restore hearing to gamers. According to a recent, unrelated poll, gamers also happened to name hearing as one of their favorite senses. So now maybe we can laugh along when we watch 30 Rock, instead of just staring at Tina Fey. Oh heck, who am I kidding? I don't need an excuse to stare at Tina Fey.
