Manufacturers of the Microsoft Xbox 360 have threatened to take part in a mass suicide over a lack of compensation by their employer.

The Chinese anti-government website China Jasmine Revolution has broken the news about a group of roughly 300 former employees from Foxconn.

Foxconn has a plant in Wuhan, China which produces the Microsoft Xbox 360 console. These former employees have threatened to commit a mass suicide due to the fact that they have not been paid by the company.

Foxconn has reportedly refused to pay severance compensation that was earned by these former employees.

The workers are threatening suicide by stating that they will all jump off of a rooftop.

On the 2nd of January, employees asked for a raise, but were refused. The company allowed them to quit and receive a severance package for doing so, but they have not been paid what they were promised.

This is not the first time that employees of the company have taken part in suicides. Separate instances similar to this took place in 2010 as well as 2011.

Reports state that the company is under investigation for his working conditions.

The mayor of Wuhan, China has reportedly convinced the employees to not kill themselves.
