Traditionally a second place to Sony in Europe, Microsoft is turning up the heat on its Xbox 360 console in that territory. A recent price drop has jolted sales in the UK, and the company has plans to release a whopping 7 different bundles to shops in Europe before Christmas. There is literally an Xbox 360 for every taste... because we all know that Europeans have taste. We North Americans aren't overly interested in the Lego Indiana Jones or Superstar Tennis bundles, but that Gears of War 2 package available on November 7th has us salivating. It seems that Microsoft is making a credible effort to regain ground in Europe this winter holiday.

For reference, the Arcade packs are going for 179 Euros ($240 USD), which is a little bit more expensive than in North America, but still far cheaper than the Playstation 3, which currently retails at 399 Euros ($536) for the 80GB version.

-X360 ARCADE (Sega Superstar Tennis + XBLA games) - 179.00 Euros
