Xbox 360 FIFA 07 gets new game engine

Electronic Arts has gone to town with their upcoming Xbox 360 title FIFA 07, unveiling a new gaming engine they say was two years in the making. EA said in a press release that this “engine is poised to redefine the way sports videogames play and feel. A physics-based and data-driven technology, the engine delivers individuality of player movement, authentic athletic motion and an unprecedented level of responsiveness.” Highlights include no two athletes behaving or playing the same way, new ball physics, a more detailed online component which delivers up to the minute match results and licenses from the top leagues in the world. Expect FIFA 07 this fall.
