Xbox 360 Devkit Spotted at MadWorld Developer

Here is an interesting bit of information sure to add fuel to the belief that Sega is planning an Xbox 360 version of Madworld: A recent video tour of developer Platinum Games' studio reveals an Xbox 360 dev kit in full view of the camera. You can see the device, with its telltale extra height, sitting to the right of the designer's monitor at the beginning of the video below. Why would the lead animation designer for Madworld Wii need an Xbox 360 development kit so close to his workstation, unless….
Of course, Sega has vehemently denied rumors that its ultra violent game is anything but a Wii exclusive. This video also proves nothing, since there are many plausible reasons that a video game developer might have spare devkits lying around. There might even be a Playstation 3 kit somewhere off camera where we can’t see it.
Still, something about the rumor rings true for us, and we are very convinced that Sega would be throwing money away if they didn’t release the game on the 360 eventually. It seems to us that a game where you are awarded points for splattering opponents against a spike-covered dart board might resonate better with the Xbox 360 crowd than the Wii Fit demographic. Just remember, you read it here first, folks.

You wanna know why they have a 360 dev kit? Because along with Madoworld for the Wii they have a PS3/360 game in the works.
Nie of you to show you have zero gaming knowledge.. Yeah a 360 dev kit instantly means madworld is leaving the Wii and they dont have it for working on the 360 games they promised last year. Maybe before you post you should go look into platinum games and what games they announced when they were formed. Madworld is hardly their only game. Of course you probably knew that but it was a chance to try to take a shot at the Wii so you had to take it even if it has no merit.

It is for Bayonetta, a game that is being developed by Platinum games for the X-Box 360 and playstation 3.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it go multiplatform. This is just one more piece of evidence suggesting that it is true.
