When you start to think about the best Xbox 360 franchises, you immediately begin to lean towards the more blockbuster releases.

The thing you immediately forget though is that there have been many hidden gems in the Xbox 360 line-up over the years, games some may have never heard of.

What we want to know is what our readers think is the greatest Xbox 360 franchise in the console's history?

We have included a list of some of the franchises which we see as the cream of the crop of gaming franchises on the Xbox 360, just to get the discussion rolling.

The first franchise that comes to mind when you think of the Xbox 360 is certainly the Halo franchise. Without a doubt, there is no Xbox or Xbox 360 without Halo, and the multiple releases on the Xbox 360 make this a tremendous pick.

Another franchise that came to our mind which may be a bit outside the box is the Condemned franchise.

Though Condemned did not enjoy an extremely high-level of success in terms of sales, the original Condemned was one of the first games to truly show off what type of gaming experience the Xbox 360 can display, and the sequel was equally as impressive.

Gears of War also has to be up there on any gamer's list, as the trilogy of games on the Xbox 360 is one of the best series of releases ever seen during the lifespan of a single console.

Honorable mentions include Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls, Alan Wake, Assassin's Creed, and Call of Duty.

Now it is your turn, sound off on what you think is the best Xbox 360 franchise, and why?
