Verizon Wireless launches mobile Halo portal

If you cannot get enough of Halo through your Xbox 360, you can now also enjoy it through your cell phone apparently. Verizon Wireless has apparently teamed with mobile game publisher In-Fusio to launch Halo: Mobile Portal. This downloadable application, available through Verizon’s virtual store, lets a user customize their phones with official wallpapers and tones of their favorite Halo characters and scenes, check their most recent Xbox Live Gamertag statistics, send messages, get gameplay tips and receive weekly updates on new limited edition content. Some content, such as wallpapers and ringtones, will cost pre-purchased credits to download.
