Ubisoft readies Xbox 360 Assassins game

Ubisoft announced today a new version of one of their franchises was in development by their Montreal studio for the Xbox 360 from Microsoft. Assassin’s Creed will debut in early 2007 and is set in 1191 AD during the time of the Third Crusades as players take on the role of the assassin Altair. The game includes an open world environment and offers heavy action blended with animations, letting gamers use a wide array of medieval weapons.
