The Xbox 360 has been a haven for sports fans, as we have seen some tremendous Xbox 360 sports releases throughout the life of the console. We have put together a list of what we see as the top 10 Xbox 360 sports games released thus far.\n\n10. The BIGS 2\n\nThe BIGS 2 was absolute blast, as it was NBA Jam going to the baseball diamond. It was all about going back to the days when Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball on the Super Nintendo reigned supreme, a joy to play.\n\n9. EA Sports MMA\n\nEA Sports MMA was a great release as it went toe-to-toe with THQ and the UFC franchise. A great simulation fighter that packed a great deal of depth.\n\n8. FIFA Soccer '12\n\nThe latest edition of FIFA Soccer from EA Sports has been well-received, and for good reason. The gameplay has been complemented with updated visuals and presentation.\n\n7. NBA Street Homecourt\n\nA strange choice I agree, but this release was a joy to play on the Xbox 360, especially in a party environment, we need this franchise to make a comeback!\n\n6. Skate 2\n\nSkate 2 is extremely creative on so many levels, EA did an amazing job to create a huge playground in-game for you to explore, and be as crazy as you wanted, the best skateboarding game on the Xbox 360.\n\n5. Madden NFL '12\n\nThe Madden franchise was in rough shape after the 2011 season, but EA Sports came back with a finely tuned machine in Madden NFL '12.\n\n4. Fight Night Round 3\n\nIt doesn't get much better than Fight Night Round 3, the online play was superb, and offline was just as enjoyable. Even now, still one of the best Xbox 360 sports games around.\n\n3. NHL '12\n\nThe latest NHL release picks up on everything that the franchise has established over the years, and improved upon it.\n\n2. NBA 2K11\n\nPlaying as Michael Jordan through all of his infamous moments was a real treat for gamers. The most impressive sports simulation to date.\n\n1. NBA 2K12\n\nWhat is better than NBA 2K11? NBA 2K12! This year took the prior-years formula and improved upon it ten-fold, adding new legends, and making you forget the NBA lockout.
