THQ registers new domain showing possible sequel to Metro 2033

Metro 2033

Xbox 360 gamers you more than likely don't remember playing Metro 2033 last year when it hit shelves by THQ. Based on Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky's early 2000 novel carrying the same name, Metro 2033 took us through a post apocalyptic Earth where humans are forced to live in the subways of
Moscow to avoid death.

A Fallout New Vegas type feel, but firmly different. But, for those of you who do
remember this sleeper hit, you will feel glad to know the new title may have a...new title!

THQ registered the following domains recently which could point towards a new name for the sequel: lastlightgame.com, metro2033lastlight.com, and metrolastlight.com. No official word has been released on what the domains are for, but with THQs past of registering domains related to games and giving a strong media presence, can only make us think this is for the sequel.

Originally thought to be dubbed Metro 2034, people seem to believe Last Light is the new name. Some conspire that they are staying true to the name of "Metro 2033" for branding purposes. Either way, we can expect to hear more about this sequel in next year or so. In the mean time, you can pick up a copy of Metro 2033 on Steam this week for only $9.99. Thats half off its original price! I highly recommend you
guys go check it out.
