Test Drive Unlimited ready to drive into stores
Atari said today they had completed development of Test Drive Unlimited for the Xbox 360 and anticipate having it on store shelves September 5 for around $40. In Test Drive Unlimited, players will be offered 90 licensed vehicles which are customizable with interior and exterior details and functions. Car packs featuring six or more vehicles, complete with genre-specific radio stations, will be available for download monthly, beginning six weeks after launch on Xbox Live Marketplace. In addition the game offers customization options, character personalization, more than 1000 miles of Hawaiian terrain to openly explore, a single player game mode and a host of online options with M.O.O.R. (Massively Open Online Racing), which enables gamers to interact with thousands simultaneously.
