Street Fighter IV Pseudo-Sequel or DLC Characters: Which Do You Prefer?

Street Fighter IV was a big return to form for fighting aficionados. Hey, we loved it so much we wrote a blow-by-blow review. And now with millions of copies sold, there are hints of a pseudo-sequel in the works for Street Fighter IV in the tradition of the innumerable Turbos, Supers, and Championship Editions we've all come and love. So don't expect this to mean SFV is coming anytime soon.
No, not a full sequel. But the Japanese Street Fighter IV official blog did intimate an announcement would be made very soon on what exactly Capcom has in plans for the Street Fighter franchise. As work is completed on SFIV versions of T.Hawk and Dee Jay, other characters are sure to follow. But whether they will be released in a new retail package or as downloadable content remains to be heard. I'm in the camp for marketplace DLC.
Personally, I'm tired of having to buy the same games over and over again for slightly tweaked content (for example Guitar Hero's updated track lists) or additional characters (Ninja Gaiden Sigma's new playable characters: Ayane, Rachel and Momij).
Why bone fans on another SKU? Show us the love and support your games by releasing new marketplace content. Rock Band has weekly store updates. A fighter is a great platform for new downloadable characters. What better place to start the precedent than one of the best-selling and well-loved franchises? Make it happen Capcom!
