Rumor: Halo 4 Announcement Coming At E3

This rumor has been circulating for a few days but is just too good to pass up. A number of not particularly reputable Internet blogs are reporting that sources inside ex-Microsoft development studio Bungie have a big surprise for Halo fans. Reportedly, the company will announce that they are working on a follow-up to the Halo franchise at this Year's E3 event in Los Angeles.

Bungie officially gained its freedom frm Microsoft after having completed Halo 3. While the break-up was amicable, everybody expected the newly-independent development studio to move away from the Halo franchise to focus on something different. We will have to wait until the conference center doors open in two weeks to get to the bottom of this rumor.
