D3Publisher of America Brings Online Multiplayer Action to Hit Game Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords with the Game's Launch on Xbox LIVE Arcade

D3Publisher of America recently announced that the critically-acclaimed game Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is available for download via the Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. This new Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 version brings fans the same classic gameplay, but with all new features including the online competitive play component they have been clamoring for since the title's debut earlier this year on handheld systems. Developed by Infinite Interactive Pty. Ltd., the XBLA version of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords allows players to enjoy a downloadable version of this popular and highly addictive game that blends match-three puzzle gameplay with strategy, character-building elements and a persistent storyline set in the beloved Warlords universe.

Gamer Pics and Themes for the game are available through Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

Set in the Warlords universe, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords tasks players to save the land of Etheria from evil Lord Bane. Gamers engage in battles fought by means of competitive, head-to-head and "match-three" style puzzle games in one of three gameplay modes: Single-player, Instant Action or Multiplayer. Victory will advance a player's customizable hero, magical arsenal, creature companions and more - ultimately rewarding gamers at nearly every turn and deepening their immersion into the richly diverse world.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is available for download via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 1200 Microsoft Points. The game is rated E 10+ (suggestive themes) by the ESRB.
