MS to get its own Metal Gear Solid

If you've been feeling down at the lack of a Metal Gear Solid game on your system, don't be. MS has got your back on this and is going to give you what you want, and it's not Splinter Cell (though that is coming next year). According to Gameguru the game in question comes from a developer who can give us something "way better than Snake" Ms has reportedly come away "very impressed" and the game is supposed to look better than anything on the PS3 to date.

There are few downsides to this not mentioned in the article.
1. Developers always hype of their games to be better than (insert famous game here) sometimes hey turn out to be great games (Black) and sometimes it's a proverbial mess (Killzone) but rarely has that game turned out to actually trump said game.

2. Even if this game is the best thing for the 360 since Bioshock, it's not coming out in 2008, seeing as how it's only in pre-production stages.

3. The article never states that it's a stealth game, merely saying its better than Metal Gear Solid. That's a lot like saying Halo is Better than Metal Gear Solid. Yes, it gets my attention, but it wasn't what I was looking for.
