Microsoft Offering Free Xbox 360 To College Students

Microsoft is offering up a sweet deal to those who are in the market for an Xbox 360, as the company has advertised a free Xbox 360 for any student who wants to take part in the deal.

Just a year ago, Microsoft made an offer that few could refuse in the fact that they were giving away a free Xbox 360 to those who were looking to pick up a Windows desktop PC or laptop.

Microsoft has brought this great deal back for another round, and many of the big name retailers are taking part.

The way in which the deal works is you have to first and foremost purchase from one of the big US retailers including Best Buy, Dell.com, Fry's Electronic, HPDirect.com, NewEgg, or Microsoft themselves.

These are the participating retailers for the free Xbox 360 offer that Microsoft has put on the table.

So here is how it all works. What you have to do in order to get a free Xbox 360 is to provide verification of school enrollment, as well as purchase a new desktop computer or laptop, with Windows 7 of course.

This year, the deal works for all students, even those who are in high school or a different education level.

This is a great way to get a free Xbox 360 and pick up a brand new desktop PC or laptop at the same time.

If you are looking for both to spruce up your dorm room next fall, here is your chance to get a great deal from Microsoft.

The offer for the free Xbox 360 is set to run from May 20th to September 8th, 2012.

This means that the deal is going to be out there for quite some time, and will also incorporate Windows 8 PCs when they are available by the end of June.
