Microsoft Brings Xbox 360 Kinectimals To iPhone, iPad

Microsoft has been doing a lot of work lately to try and bring some of its more popular franchise to the Apple iOS devices, including both the iPhone as well as the iPad. The latest effort and clearly the most notable, is none other than Kinectimals.
Microsoft has released Kinectimals as a downloadable game on the App Store, selling for just $2.99.
This is a full-fledged release that also works hand-in-hand with the Xbox 360 version of the game of the same name.
The release on the Apple iPhone and iPad has been receiving some very positive reviews.
We have played through it a bit here and it is pretty impressive, getting the job done on many levels in terms of bringing the console experience to the handheld devices.
The game revolves around you caring for a little animal, by completing mini-games as well as various other tasks.
The game utilizes the touch-screen input of the iOS devices very well, creating an intuitive experience throughout.
The Xbox 360 connectivity comes into play with the ability for you to actually bring over your animals from the Xbox 360 into the Apple iOS version.
This works very well and is a breeze, unlocking new potential on the handheld, as the handheld version will only allow certain animals without connecting the two games.
Microsoft has released a full-fledged Xbox Live app in the iOS App Store, and continues to follow it up with stellar releases. Microsoft may not have a handheld of their own outside of Windows Mobile, but they are certainly making the most of what their developers are capable of.
