Maxim Searching for Real Bayonetta

It would be nice if we could set aside our petty squabbles over which console has the best framerate and agree on one thing: Platinum Games has created the sexiest video game character ever. Bayonetta is the uber hot new protagonist from Sega that is making all the nerds say \"Giggity\". Combining the best parts of sexy French teacher and leather-clad dominatrix, Bayonetta stirs up primal urges we haven't felt since grade school. With her dark-rimmed glasses and lethal arsenal, she is set to dominate both monsters and fanboys when she lands on store shelves in North America this January.\n\nWherever there is a sexy video game heroine, you can rest assured that there is a magazine seeking to capitalize on her popularity. Sega today announced a contest to find a real life Bayonetta in collaboration with Maxim.com, the digital counterpart to the lads' magazine. According to the publisher, the winner will be the girl who best captures the \"style and attitude\" of the video game character. \n\nWith her sophisticated swagger and physical agility, Bayonetta is more than your average run-of-the-mill hottie. Her unique look, combined with the acrobatic nature of her attacks, provide the ideal attributes for an aspiring model to bring Bayonetta to life. Unfortunately, the prizes might not be appealing enough to attract the top talent: winners will receive an Xbox 360, a 50 inch Panasonic Plasma HDTV, and a copy of Bayonetta for the Xbox 360.\n\n\n\n\n\nYou've been a very naughty boy.\n\n\n\n\"Bayonetta is lethal - she's beautiful but brutal. We're convinced she will stir up the Maxim readers.\" said Sean Ratcliffe, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. \"We can't wait to see the Maxim.com audience rise to the challenge of trying to find us a real life Bayonetta.\"\n\nEntrants must be 18 years or older and a legal, female resident of the United States or Canada. All photo submissions must be received by September 30, 2009 to be eligible for consideration. Maxim, SEGA and Platinum Games will select the entrants for the online voting gallery and fans will vote on the top entries at Maxim.com from October 1 to October 23, 2009. Platinum Games will factor in all of the responses to determine the Grand Prize winner. The winner will be announced on October 29.
