Mass Effect 2 Demo Character Can Transfer to Full Game

The Mass Effect 2 Demo which is available now on Xbox Live contains more than an hour of gameplay, to give players a good sense of all the new improvements in the game. Playing as Commander Shepard, you must survive and escape from a Cerberus space station under siege. Then you will play through an intense mid-game mission where you must rescue an infamous convict from an impenetrable prison ship. The best part is that once you have completed the demo, you can carry over your progress and character into
the full game. This is a great feature and a good incentive to download demos, something that other developers should consider.

Don't worry if you haven't played the first game (although you definitely should). The demo also includes a "Story So Far" video, detailing the events of Mass Effect 1 narrated by Martin Sheen. You can also watch the entire video embedded below:
