2K Sports announced today Major League Baseball 2K7 for a variety of platforms, including the Xbox 360, had gone gold and would be in stores on Feb. 27. The publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software described this title as follows:

"Major League Baseball 2K7 takes authenticity to a whole new level with countless innovative and detailed Signature Style animations. Everything from a player’s stance, batting rituals, pitch delivery, accessories, and facial expressions have been captured, making each player look and play like their real-life counterparts. Revamped A.I. has been dramatically improved in the outfield so fielders make both smart and very realistic plays. Inside Edge technology has been updated for the 2007 season so CPU players hit, pitch, and field just like their real-life MLB counterparts.

In addition to the new Signature Style animations Major League Baseball 2K7 also features completely redesigned true to life stadiums that will bring gamers to the field in their favorite ballpark with the detailed replications of the unique monuments and flawless architecture for each city.

Major League Baseball 2K7 also features the best commentary team in any baseball video game. Legendary broadcasters Jon Miller and Hall of Famer Joe Morgan return to lend their extraordinary talents calling the balls and strikes, with Jeanne Zelasko and Steve Physioc providing entertaining and insightful pre-game analysis.

Be further immersed in the full baseball experience with many other new and exciting presentation elements, including broadcast team lineup display, never seen before camera angles, stadium fly-bys showcasing the crowd and team atmosphere, and much more."
