Latest Red Dead Redemption Trailer Brings the Drama

Say what you will about Grand Theft Auto IV, but it was one game that showed definitively that the current generation was something special. Everything was bigger, more detailed, and more alive in Liberty City as experienced by Nico and his associates. Now, Rockstar Games is set to unleash their creativity once again with the upcoming sequel to Red Dead Revolver, and this new game also shows how far we have come.

While Red Dead Revolver was a mere parody of Old West themes, Redemption is more like a loving homage to the cinematic western movies that influenced the first game. In the latest trailer, we see the playable character, bounty hunter John Marston introduced for the first time. He has come to town with a mission -- to track down the infamous Bill Williamson. Marston clearly has something to hide and the Sheriff meanwhile gives us the creeps. Seems like nobody is quite what they seem in Rockstar's vision of the Old West, and it will take the whole game to sort out the good from the bad.

Check out the official trailer below, but be advised that it contains some adult language and images of guns being fired. You can also check out the first Red Dead Redemption trailer here.
