Kojima Teases New Metal Gear Game
The overnight launch of a an official Konami website teases a new Metal Gear game. The simple flash site displays a Konami logo, before showing a series of cryptic green symbols. Text below the equation reads "A Next Metal Gear Is..."
When we stopped running in circles around the GameFlavor offices and screaming at the top of our lungs, we realized that this announcement could mean absolutely anything. It could be a new card-trading game or a PSP sequel to Metal Gear Acid, for all we know. A large number of peole have pointed out that one of the symbols on the site strongly resembles the power button on the Xbox 360. This could indicate that Kojima is working on an all-new game or a port of MGS4 destined for Microsoft's system. Or, it could be a re-make of the classic metal gear NES game for Xbox Live, but that would be just as awesome. On the other hand, people have suggested that the first "i" in the equation looks like the same font used for the Wii, so we could be looking at a collection of motion-sensing Solid Snake mini games.
See? Here we go again with wild speculation. Until we know more directly from Kojima himself, consider this case unsolved.
