Is Ruffian Games Working on Crackdown 2?
Ruffian Games is a brand new developer based in Scotland that has united talent from such games as Fable 2, Grand Theft Auto IV, Project Gotham Racing and Crackdown. We all suspect that a sequel to the popular open-world action game Crackdown is in the works for the Xbox 360, the only question is when.
Ruffian games seems like a good candidate for the project. The company's Creative Director Billy Thompson (who was one of the key staff members on the original Crackdown game) has said that he wants to create another game that “makes you feel like a God”. The ability to jump over buildings in the original Crackdown was as close as we have come to that sensation, so hopefully he shares our opinion about what makes a good action game.
Furthermore, the company has recently signed an exclusivity agreement with a major publisher for its next game (cough Microsoft? Cough), so whatever the team is working on they have already gathered a great deal of support. In these uncertain economic times, the only project that we can see a major publisher getting behind is one that already has a track record of sales. Despite being an Xbox 360 exclusive, Crackdown sold approximately 1.5 million copies worldwide, making it a good contender for a sequel.

Dear Ruffian Games,
Hey I am a big fan of the first Crackdown. Thank you so much for making a Crackdown 2.I hope you can do much stuff in this one. Please Please Do not put the Stunt Rings Back!! That is why I hate Crackdown is Because of the Stunt Rings. Second please if you put the Driving back make it better. The Driving in the first Crackdown when you did the races sucked!! Third if you level up I heard that you are going to get a helicopter that is awesome!!. Those types of stuff will sale the game. I thing on of the Achievements should be kill 15 zombies with the helicopter. Like by the blade or kill them by the rockets on the helicopter. Just some ides for the new Crackdown. Please NO!!!!!!! STUNT RINGS!!!! Maybe have the Zombies take over a plane on something like that, and you have to save the people. Just ides!! Thank you thank you for making a second one. The Second one will sale more copies!! Also please test the game. Crackdown one had too many problems! I can not wait to see the new places!! Can't wait to find out what happen after Crackdown 1 ended!! Make the story better and longer too. Thank you so much for letting me voices my comments and options and ides. And thank you to Ruffian Games for making a sequel!! I hope Ruffian Games uses some of my ideas for the Game!!!!!
