After a long day of waiting for some gamers, the Halo 3 beta is now live to all who have codes to get in. While users with codes from elsewhere had no trouble getting into the beta, those who purchased Crackdown to play the beta - whether specifically for the beta or just as a side benefit - had to wait while Microsoft and Bungie scrambled to get a patch together.
Bungie has announced via their official website, that not only is this bug fixed, but the beta has been extended four days, ending on June 10th rather than the 6th. Four more days of fun for a few hours of waiting? We'll take it!
Bungie also describes an additional bug fix in their post. Kudos to Bungie for finding and resolving both bugs so quickly.
