GTA IV Multiplayer Contest This Weekend

If you haven't been online in GTA IV since you completed it at the beginning of the summer, you aren't alone. But now you have a good reason to grab the game up off the shelf and give your trigger finger a workout. Rockstar and Microsoft announced today that they will be hosting an online GTA IV marathon this weekend, beginning friday, September 26. The festivities are open to gamers in the United States and Canada with an Xbox Live account. By registering at the official sweepstakes website, players will be automatically entered to win prizes just by logging on and playing with their friends. Prizes up for grabs include a new Elite console and 12-month Xbox Live subscription cards.

While the event lasts all weekend, you'll want to get there early. Members of the Rockstar development team will be online between 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, September 26 to play with fans. This might also be a great opportunity to go for that "Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie" achievement, if you weren't already lucky enough to snag it.
