Gears Community Online Network announces "COMMUNITY NIGHTS SEASON FOUR"

The leading Gears of War community group brings back signature event series with huge new product partners

Gears Community Online Network (GCON) announces "Community Nights Season Four", the next edition in the long-running event series for Gears of War 2. Encouraging gamers to get online and play with the community across Xbox Live, each night is hosted by a team of up to forty certified individuals to ensure quality connections and experiences for most major regions around the world.

For this season, GCON has teamed up with major Gears of War and Xbox-related partners to bring Gears fans unmissable events, exclusive articles and stacks of giveaways in the buildup to the release of Gears of War 3 on September 20th, 2011. Eleven different partners have been secured to sponsor each individual event over the next eleven weeks, including big names such as Project TriForce, Astro Gaming, Calibur11, Epic Games and Microsoft.

GCON and Epic Games encourages all fans who get involved to tweet and join the conversation with the #GearsWeekend hash tag on Twitter, with prizes being randomly given away to tweets containing the hash tag every Monday until the release of Gears of War 3.
