Game Announcements at Spike TV Video Game Awards

Some major game announcements were made at this year's Spike TV Video Games Award. Included in the reveals was a game we broke almost half a year ago -- Green Day Rock Band. Yep, the highly acclaimed Punk rockers are finally getting their own game a la Beatles Rock Band. And their catalog does indeed run deep with awesomeness.

Another big announcement was Star Wars: Force Unleashed II, a followup to one of the best selling Star Wars games.

Were you one of the guys who thanked the gods for finally having a good Batman game? Well, kiss their butts again because Batman: Arkham Asylum is also getting a sequel.

New franchise entries include Deadliest Warrior: The Game, based on the hit TV show, and Spec Ops: The Line. But don't forget your history though, because old franchises are getting a second chance at life with series like Medal of Honor, Tron, and True Crime getting an HD reboot.

We also got a first look at in-game footage of Halo: Reach and the new engine is looking pretty freakin' cool.

Stumble It!
