There is no doubt that Fallout 3 is one of the most highly-anticipated games coming to the Xbox 360 this holiday. As is often the case with these blockbuster titles, enterprising pirates have found a source and leaked a near-complete version of the title on to the net. The only consolation for Microsoft and true gamers is that some pirates have reported bugginess in this release, suggesting that it is a pre-gold copy of the game. Interestingly, the version of the PC platform, which is usually expected to suffer the worst piracy, has not yet been leaked.

The final retail version of Fallout 3 is not expected in stores until October 23, so this news stings for those of us (law abiding) citizens who have to wait it out. I wonder if there is a way that I could freeze myself, only to be cryogenically awakened later this month? Hmm, better not, lest I wake up in a landscape that actually DOES look like something out of Fallout 3.
