D3Publisher is recruiting gamers across America to defend the human race in Earth Defense Force 2017, now available exclusively for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft at a suggested retail price of $39.95. As described by D£Publisher, "this hard-hitting, arcade-style, third-person shooter thrusts players into the thick of battle in order to defeat a wide variety of invading alien attackers, ranging from giant ants and spiders to robots and bio-engineered monsters standing more than 20 stories tall! With hundreds of enemies on screen at once, a wholly destructible environment, 53 levels and more than 150 weapons in the arsenal, the Earth Defense Force is well equipped to annihilate the invading alien Ravagers."

In a wholly destructible environment where bridges, skyscrapers and other structures can just as easily be destroyed by friend or foe, players can either save their world or demolish it in the process.
