EA Chicago opens shop in new location

Electronic Arts said today their EA Chicago development studio had formally set up shop in their new downtown Chicago digs. This team is reportedly one of the fastest growing studios at EA with 150 employees currently on staff. EA is planning to increase the number of developers by 100 next year, said the company in a press release. EA Chicago best known for the EA Sports Fight Night franchise, is currently working on three new games for the PlayStation 3 system and the Xbox 360 including the hip-hop lifestyle game, Def Jam Icon, as well as a licensed title and a new intellectual property in the fighting videogame genre.
