DiRT 3 Video Shows off New Locations, Weather Effects

The next entry in the extreme rally racing series, DiRT 3 is coming our way in 2011. The first two games were massive in scope, blending current-gen physics and beautiful visuals with enough realism to keep things challenging. According to Codemasters, this next installment will feature more cars, more tracks and more events than the already massive predecessors. The game features snow and ice, dynamic weather, splitscreen support, party modes, and an open-world mode.The very first trailer for the game (below) gives a sense of the massive scale of DiRT 3 by showing off dozens of new locations and weather effects. It also reveals that the makers of Monster Energy drink continue to sponsor the sponsor the series, suggesting that some of that extreme sport culture from the second game will be back this time around.
