D3Publisher of America, Inc. (D3PA), a publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, is honored to announce that 2007's critically acclaimed Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords for Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft was awarded Best Downloadable Game at the 11th annual Interactive Achievement Awards. The award, voted on by industry peers, was presented February 7 at the D.I.C.E. "Earning an Interactive Achievement Award is a great success for D3PA and Infinite Interactive; to be recognized as a leader in technical innovation and gameplay experience with a game like Puzzle Quest is an honor," said Peter Andrew, vice president, product development, D3PA. "We took a risk offering such a genre-bending title, but Puzzle Quest has now paved the way for more compelling puzzlers to come. We're thrilled with the praise it's received over the last year and hope Puzzle Quest continues to capture the affection of casual and hardcore gamers alike."
