Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena Trailer

What is there not to love about Riddick? The tough talking space mercenary played by Vin Diesel is the consummate video game character. He fights aliens and evil humans with equal disdain, he can take an unbelievable amount of physical punishment, and he can even see in the dark with cat-like agility. In fact, we would even go so far as to say that the action star seems perfectly at home in this video game follow-up to the films. The delivery of his lines always had a kind of video game quality to them anyway.

The action appears to be top-notch space suspense fare. We like the addition of the armored suit as well, although it looks a little bit puny from the first-person view shown here. We can't wait to get our hands on this title for ourselves, and we will have a full review for Gameflavor readers when we do. In the meantime, Atari has informed us that The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Will receive a demo on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 in March.
