The Championship Gaming Series (CGS) has announced its Point Scoring System for the upcoming Region 1 Season.

Teams will earn points based on the cumulative performance of each squad, making each round of every game important. Every point will contribute to the overall team score. After each squad competes head to head, the team with the most points wins.

FIFA: Each goal that a player scores is one point for the team. Any overtime or shootout goals will count as one point per goal.

Project Gotham Racing 3 (PGR3): Five points for the team are earned for a first place finish, three points for second place and one point for third.

Dead or Alive 4 (DOA4): (Men & Women): Each round won is worth one point. The first player to win five rounds takes the DOA match. There is a maximum of nine rounds per game.

Counter-Strike: Source (CS): Each round is worth one point for the winning team. The first team to win ten rounds wins the match, with a maximum of 18 rounds per game.

Overtime
If in any given match both teams finish with equal total scores, then an overtime format will determine the match winner.

FIFA: Shootout
PGR: One lap
DOA: One round
CS: One round
