Broadjam Announces Dance Dance Revolution Contest Winners

Broadjam.com, one of the world’s largest independent music sites, has announced the results of the 2007 contest where the company teamed with acclaimed video game publisher Konami to find new songs for their hit Dance Dance Revolution series. The grand prizes were awarded to artist Sanxion7 for the song “EternuS,” and to the artist Beatdrop for the song “Until Forever.”
The winners will receive a cash prize as well as the opportunity to have their music featured in upcoming versions of the popular video game by Konami. The winners, members of Broadjam.com, competed by composing and then uploading their original music to the Broadjam site. Broadjam then submitted the songs to Konami for judging.
“Once again, the Broadjam members provided us with an overwhelming selection of songs that were perfect for our game,” said Stillwind Borenstein, Music Director for Konami Digital Entertainment. “Working with Broadjam on this contest was again a pleasure and so much fun.”
With over 71,000 members and an online catalogue of more than 255,000 original songs, Broadjam’s huge variety of quality artists ensured that Konami was able to choose from the best content available.
“We’re pleased and honored that we had the opportunity to work with Konami again in the music search for their great Dance Dance Revolution product,” said Roy Elkins, Founder and CEO of Broadjam. “This being the second year of the contest, we got even more great submissions and Konami was able to pick from a ton of terrific music.”
