Bikes Added to Burnout Paradise

Criterion Games today released the long-awaited patch for Burnout Paradise which enables players to use motorcycles in races. The patch was first made available in Europe early this morning, before also being offered in North America. In order to download the free update, all that is necessary is to launch Burnout Paradise on an internet-connected Xbox 360 and allow the 154 MB update to download.

The bikes pack includes 4 new two-wheeled vehicles, and a host of other interesting features. The pack allows players to select either a male or female rider and progress through a series of events to earn your bike license. The game also adds 38 new time attack race events – Burning Ride and Midnight Ride. There are also 70 new Freeburn challenges included with the update. Perhaps the coolest feature is a brand new in-game 24 hr day / night cycle that impacts traffic density and available events. Dynamic weather also changes the condition of the course as races take place. Players can set how quickly the in-game time changes to suit their particular play style.
