Assassin's Creed Devs Having Issues

assassins-creed-t.jpg

Not personal issues, mind you, development issues and with both platforms. Seems like, despite evangelical preaching from Microsoft and Sony, that their systems are not perfected, ultimate gaming machines.

"Both have their own challenges. Right now we have a big challenge on the 360 to make it fit on a DVD, to put five languages, to put all the data on eight gigs. On the Blu-ray side we're really good, but then the memory is quite different. How we handle memory is really different between the two machines and we're struggling right now on the PS3." says Desilets.

These problems are somewhat trouble some. Will the 360 have less in the game due to a limited 8 gig? Adding another DVD might be hazardous, since it's an open world game, somewhat like GTA. Though not a problem for RPGs, a genre heavy in cut-scenes and CGI, having cities on different CDs might prove to be problematic.
No doubt these issues will be ironed out by release time. (which is next month, may I add)
