if you think you have what it takes to go for the #1 headband, then I would suggest first taking on the person holding the #2 headband! From the creators that brought us Spike TV's hit anime series I am proud to announce Afro Samurai is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

For some of you that are not up to speed with the story I will gladly enlighten you on this great story. Afro Samurai is about a boy avenging the death of his father who was the original holder of the #1 headband until he took on "Justice" who mercisly took his fathers head and the band becoming the god of the #1. Years have gone by and now the #2 headband is held by Afro himself and his world is full of enemies trying to claim the band for themselves. You see only the #2 may challenge the #1 for the rights fo the band, however if you hold the number two that only means anyone can challenge you for the band; talk about a lot of pressure.

Thanks to Namco Bandai for bringing one of my favorite stories to life in video game form. The original voice actors will return for the game. The vocies are as followed: Samuel L. Jackson as "Afro" and "Ninja Ninja", Kelly Hu as "Otsuru" and Ron Pearlman as "Justice" the main bad guy who took the #1 spot form Afro's father. Another big treat is the fact that the music influence "RZA' from the Wu Tang clan will make the return to make the games soundtrack and I am very please because the first soundtrack for the series blew my mind.

I would like to point out when I went to comic con last year to talk to the creators of the story, it was jaw dropping. The reason for this is because you can't really tell what era the story is in. You have Afro wearing sandles with soft cushion bottoms like sneakers and enemies rocking cybornetic parts, even other enemies listening to mp3 players in a Feudal Japan setting. So far that was the big point they were going for and they were glad I pointed it out because it is an altered Feudal Japan set into the future which i have to say is very impressive. The A.I in the game will cahnge the way they attack you based on the music changes and rifts which is kind of cool, but will need to test that out when the game does show.

So if you ahve not watched the series and looking for a good bloody anime with a funky hip hop style to it, then I would suggest getting the DVD if you can not wait for this game to come out. Besides you want to get up to speed before the second season debuts. All right gamers stay glues for more information on this and other games; as always I am Quan and this is my news report so "Stay Frosty" gamers!
