2K Sports New York State High School All-Star Team Revealed

New York's top high school basketball stars to be honored at 2K Sports College Hoops Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer

2K Sports, the sports publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, has announced the members of the first ever 2K Sports New York State High School All-Star Team for basketball. These rising stars were chosen by members of the media, as well as all men's high school basketball coaches in New York State. They will be honored along with their coaches at the 2K Sports College Hoops Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer Championship Games on November 16th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The 2K Sports High School All-Star Team includes the following members:

"2K Sports is proud to celebrate these young men and their coaches for their hard work and achievements in high school basketball."

The team will take center court at half-time with their coaches as they are recognized on live television. The 2K Sports College Hoops Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer tips off the college basketball season with a tournament of 16 teams from 16 different conferences in action across the country. The top four teams advance to the Championship Rounds in New York City.

They will release College Hoops 2K8, the return of the best rated college basketball game for five straight years* and the best selling college basketball video game series in 2006**, later this month. College Hoops 2K8 allows gamers and fans of the sport to experience college basketball like never before, with breath-taking visuals and new features that define what it means to play college basketball. The title is rated E for Everyone and will be available for the Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and the PLAYSTATION(R)3 and PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment systems.
