Tales of Vesperia No Longer an Exclusive! What Gives?

patty_t.jpg

Seems like the word "exclusive" doesn't mean what it used to. Tales of Vesperia was billed as an exclusive Xbox 360 title, but fast-forward a few scant months later and the title mysteriously gets announced for the PS3. What gives?

Many Tales fans rushed to get an Xbox 360 when they found out there would be no other way to play the latest Tales game. Not that we're complaining about the cool system, but it's a big rub knowing that the PS3 version gets bigger and better things, like a new playable character in the form of a pirate girl named Patty Fleur.

But wait... what's that you say? The PS3 gets full voice acting as well? Okay, I told myself I wasn't going to flip out... hrmmm... Why Namco Bandai? Why? Why do you burn me so? I bought Tales day one. Where is the love for my devotion? Huh? New cutscenes, more subplots, and new outfits... only on PS3? Okay, now this is getting ridiculous. Did you just slap me?

What about our "exclusivity" deal? You told me you weren't dating anyone else. Is nothing sacred? First Enchanted Arms, Eternal Sonata, and now Tales of Vesperia?! Curse you Namco Bandai and those other companies for double-dipping!
