Mercenaries 2 Set for November!

Remember the mayhem and chaos Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction brought to the Xbox? Now imagine even more mayhem and chaos on the Xbox 360 and a game that pushes it to the limit. Gamers, be prepared for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames! This third-person shooter game not only has more freedom for the player (both destruction-wise and roaming-wise), but also has many new features that are sure to blow gamers’ minds away.

Anything can be blown up, despite the terrain, with the proper weapons. Also, thanks to the Havok 4.5 engine, a physics engine designed for computer games and video games, everything in the game is physics related! Gamers can also have more fun stealing stuff, such as using a grappling hook to latch on to helicopters in mid-air! How does stealing a helicopter sound now? Also, the environment is bigger than before as players can roam the ocean looking for oil rigs and hidden islands. As for gameplay, a co-op mode is in play as another player can assist another player either online or in split-screen mode. The enemies are more intelligent this time as they use more advanced tactics, such as taking cover when defending or moving together when attacking. How about the mayhem and chaos you ask? Don’t worry. If you thought the first Mercenaries game was crazy, I’m sure Mercenaries 2 will blow your mind away with its enhanced features of destruction.

The game has been voted by Gamespot as the “E3 07 Editors’ Choice” Best Action Adventure game, which means it was showcased at E3 07 and those who attended were able to experience the game first-hand.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames will be released on November 2007 and will also be available for the PS2 and PS3.
