Meet the Velvet Assassin

In Velvet Assassin from Replay Studios, players assume the role of special operative Violette Summer and head deep behind enemy lines with no support or official backing from the British Government. Violette will risk her life fighting to defeat the German war machine one stealth mission at a time. According to the developers, "Velvet Assassin combines lush, surreal visuals and a ground-breaking stealth combat system to deliver a gaming experience which is truly the first of its kind."

Early screenshots suggest that the third-person stealth game is coming along nicely. And dare we say, Violette looks rather fetching in her special-ops outfit. Video games need more female role models, and Violette is definitely one character that we can get behind. The game is coming to the Xbox 360 and PC this summer.
