Final Fantasy XIII Loses Japanese Voice Track

ffxiii-ss-t.jpg

If you're planning on buying Final Fantasy XIII, expect to play with only the English voice track. The Japanese voice track has been dumped due to space limitations on the standard DVD that Xbox 360 uses.

Hopefully Square-Enix will be smart enough to hire top-notch voice talents to negate any fear of unintentionally humorous English voice acting a la Enchanted Arms.

FFXIII producer Yoshinori Kitase explained how the available space on Blu-ray afforded them to produce two voice tracks for the PS3 version, but since DVD capacity being as limited as it is, the 360 version must be left out of the dual audio bandwagon.
