Video game boxing gets a next generation facelift with Fight Night Round 3 from EA Sports. Gamers are able to establish pre-fight tension by developing rivalries through pre-fight events. Fighters can be developed based on one's preferences and matched up against licensed boxers modeled after their real world counterparts. Once in the ring players can throw high Impact Punches using the analog punch system. These punches can turn the direction of a match in a single movement. By studying facial expressions and body language on an opponent one can try to understand the other's health and energy. Classic battles can also be fought or viewed through included ESPN video footage.
