Five Xbox 360 Games to Watch For at E3 2008
As many of you know, the Electronics Entertainment Expo is coming up and many people are asking "Hey Naquan, what are you excited about for the 360 @ E3?" Well, rather than have this discussion with each and every one of you, I have compiled my list of the most hotly anticipated games that are likely to make a showing at E3 this year.
The first title on the list is Gears of War 2, and I have to say the new features are very impressive. In the gameplay video below, Cliffy B explains some of the new features and experiences players can expect in the sequel. My personal favorite is the chainsaw fighting and holding a Locust hostage. Check out the video, courtesy of gametrailers.com
This game is expected to be bigger then the first Gears, because this time there will be thousands of Locust enemies to face instead of the small group we are used too. The violence is even more gruesome then ever before, so expect a more in-depth look storyline and maybe a chance to find out where and why the locust came to be.

Next up is Fable 2 and all I have to say is that it's about time this game gets shown. I mean honestly, the last game came out for the first gen system many moons ago and it was technically screaming out for a sequel. With its unique game elements especially having a big role of choice involved with your character aging and growing depending on what you do. I am just glad that RPG's are growing more on the 360 and might migrate more people over and have faith in the system. Check out this little preview.
Now what I want to know for my female gamers out there and I know they are asking, Will there be co-ed character designs? Not too sure about it, however that should of been considered in the first place for the first game. Stay tuned for this to show it's lovely face at E3, but we shall move on now to a game that is dear to my living heart because the things that you are able to do and the abilities given with in and this game is called....Left 4 Dead. Sit back and watch!
Honestly you are able to play a real game play induced Zombie movies like the classics. With the four player Co-op and being able to get infected and then turning on your comrades is a very nice factor. The main thing I enjoy is the fact that you can't win this alone! Team based combat in crucial for survival especially when you go down and surrounding by zombies, guess who will be asking for help!
Too Human will be next up on our and list and frankly it is looking somewhat impressive. Seeing the game play I believe Silicon Knights has a sure winner here, but we need to find out the story line of this upcoming hit for the 360. Check out the in-depth interview below.
It has the RPG elements that many gamers will love and once again choice in what kind of player you want to be, in my case I love my hand to hand combat so I will definitely be using more Melee weapons. "it's good to play together!" will be implemented within this game because of the Co-op factor; you and a friend will be able to enjoy each others combat and stylish moves while going through this epic storyline.
Dead Space, what can I say it is a horror game in the future while being in space. In truth this is an interesting survival sci-fi horror, since dooms debut. This game will have a third person look and a lot of creepy elements, but don't take my word for it, check it out.
All right I will have to admit that looked very impressive and I am not a survival horror fan. It seems that the horror genres and making a better come back since a lot leave you at "BOOOO", however look forward to seeing this at E3. Thanks to a fellow writer for mentioning some of our eastern expectations in one game by Square Enix called "Infinite Undiscovery". Now mind you this is going to be a Japanese release and will probably make an appearance at E3, but the great thing is Square enix making it for the Xbox 360. Wishful thinking might come soon enough.
Other games that did not make the list but are worth a look:
Mirrors Edge:
Sonic Unleashed:
Guilty Gear 2 Overture:
Mercenaries 2 World in Flames:
Sorry have to pause because there is too much yummy goodness in video games to pass around. There you have it my gamer friends, this is just a taste of what to expect at E3 and I am hoping for a lot more in-depth details on a lot of these impressive titles. I will like to personally thank gametrailers.com for providing the best footage I have seen in a long time. As always gamers "Stay Frosty"!
